Boskos--Pizza in Calistoga

After a day lounging at a nearby hot spring, the Palateers craved Italian. So before heading back to SF, we stopped in the small town of Calistoga for a bite to eat.

The grilled chicken spinach salad was quite nice, with hot fresh off the grill chunks of chicken with fresh lettuce and roasted peppers. A good way to start off the meal, especially partnered with a glass of a very berry-infused Pinot Noir (heck, we were in wine country).

The lasagna was a boat of cheese. We could hardly discern the actual lasagna under the many layers of cheese. Of course, we didn't mind, and one of the Palateers even added additional parmesan.

After indulging in the cheesy lasagna, we thought, heck, why not try some of the sausage meat pizza as well?
